Physical Education - GCSE P.E.

At New Eccles Hall School, all students participate in PE three times a week. The programme gives students a variety of pursuits to undertake, so that all can attain a level of good health and fitness as well as giving students the opportunity learn how the human body works.

Lessons at New Eccles Hall last thirty five minutes and all students have one double lesson per week along with a swimming lesson in the on site swimming pool.  Within this teaching period we develop the student’s stokes, endurance as well as assessing them termly against various different swimming badges.

Within the double PE lesson we look at the following sports for half a term each and develop basic skills: hand eye coordination, team work, fitness and leadership.
