Science

At the New Eccles Hall school all science courses follow the national curriculum.

In years 1-9 pupils follow a practically based approved National Curriculum scheme to prepare pupils for GCSE Science courses in years 10 and 11.

In year 10 all pupils study Edexcel GCSE Science for one GCSE qualification.  During year 11 most pupils study Edexcel GCSE Additional Science leading to a second GCSE qualification in Science. Some lower ability pupils will be entered for Edexcel Entry Level Science.
