Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Our Computer Suite has:

• 18 networked computers

• Broadband Internet access

• Colour and mono laser printers

• Interactive whiteboard

• Scanner

The department seeks to provide a stimulating and progressive ICT environment for all our pupils and staff.

Our resources are available for all subject departments to use and are available to all pupils during lunch, breaks and weekends, and to help with their prep. in the evenings.

New CLAIT 2006

From Year 7, pupils study towards the New Clait 2006 qualification. This is a modular, skills-based qualification. Pupils work at their own pace and are entered for exams when they are ready.

Those who complete the course early have the opportunity to learn more advanced skills in the Clait Plus course.
