The course aims to help you to develop your understanding of mathematical principles. You will acquire the foundation necessary for further study of mathematics and other disciplines and develop the ability to recognise real-life situations which can be modelled mathematically.

English Language and Literature combines these two subjects to form a single award. It allows you to study literature and also develop creative writing skills used at GCSE level.
