vitally important that parents understand fully the potential of their son
or daughter. Furthermore any school charged with teaching, supporting and
motivating a pupil will wish to have full details on the potential ability
of a pupil and a detailed understanding of strengths and in addition where
weaknesses need specific teaching support and encouragement. To this end, The New Eccles Hall School offers an assessment service which is carried out on site and where parents may consult with specialist educational psychologists, speech and language teachers and other therapists by appointment. This service is offered to all parents without obligation. Eccles staff along with the Educational Psychologist will offer impartial advice with regard to placement in a suitable school able to address needs, set targets and levels of expectation. Bearing in mind the level of independent school fees it is invaluable to parents to ensure that they have all the information at hand to enable the correct placement in a school able to support the needs of the pupil and thereby secure the best outcomes for the outlay in fees. The charge for a full Educational Psychologist’s Report, including a verbal consultation with parents on the day of the assessment followed by a written report, is £450.00 Local accommodation can be arranged for parents who are travelling a long distance.
