Breadth   v   Support   v  Extension

Our Sixth Forstudents at the French centrem aims to provide a set of diverse courses for students who wish to further their academic studies, consolidate their GCSEs and enhance their vocational and social skills.

We are able to offer a breadth in the range of subjects from GCSE, BTEC Vocational Courses and A level.

Support for learning is the key to enable all students to succeed. Through close relationships witstudents at the French centreh teachers, small classes and access to individual tuition positive progress will be made.

Sixth Form study at The New Eccles Hall School is not solely about academic work, it concerns the extension of the whole learning experience, one in which independence can be developed and skills both academic and vocational will be progressed.

Our holistic approach will bring the lrelaxation in the school groundsearning process alive and encourage students to make full use of the school facilities and the outdoor classroom, both on their doorstep and further afield for their studies at whatever level.

Students have the opportunity to enhance their achievements through sporting, leisure and practical programmes which in themselves are accredited by external awarding authorities. Achievements can be fully recognized beyond school and extended into further education or in a more vocational setting.
